Back in Missouri

Saturday, November 17th, we all headed back to Missouri. It is so nice to be here in my apartment again. Now, to get down to writing out all I have learned while in Oklahoma... I am hoping to have much of it done by Thanksgiving so I do not have to think about it much while my mom and little brother are here.

I also need to get my car worked on since it quit many times on me on the way back from Oklahoma. It made a 4 hour trip take 9 hours. Quite the adventure. We all learned how to change the fuel filter and spark plug wires. I had another girl in the car with me while one of the guys was following us. Needless to say, we were all tired by the time we got back home.

Living in Oklahoma!

It has been a wonderful time here in Oklahoma living among the Cherokee Indians. We have been analyzing their language. In many ways it is a different culture entirely, although when you go to Wal-Mart everything is still the same.

The great part is that we leave on Saturday! Imagine that. I am still excited to leave, knowing that I will be going back to my own apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, livingroom and bathroom. Here we have a bathroom shared by what used to be 14 people but is now 8 after the other class left. The kitchen is across camp and the office is in the building about 30 feet away from our dorm building. I have loved it though. I really can't complain.
